Google Starts Shutting Down Its City Pages, Shifts To Google+ Local

It seems that Google is in the middle of making some more changes that will affect a lot of local businesses.  After spending a lot of time and effort learning this system and getting some of our customers registered in the local city pages, we are now seeing and learning that Google is dropping that service and switching over to Google+ service.  One lines states “There are no local businesses getting the (recommended places) label, for example, and there’s no page that lists Google Offers.

Right now it’s a little early to tell exactly what Google is going to do, as this seems to be updated and changing on a daily basis.  We will wait until they come out with a final “product” and then learn how to utilize the service.
