Google Maps Is Back On The iPhone

Google maps is back on the iPhone!

You knew it was just a matter of time before this would happen after the dismal failure of apples mapping software. It’s now an official app and is available in Apple’s App Store. This time it even includes turn by turn navigation.

They are saying that this app is actually better than Google maps for android because it’s been rebuilt from scratch. However at this time is not integrated with Siri. So for all those people that upgraded their iPhone to IOS 6.0 or bought the new iPhone five, you can now have Google maps back on your phone. This is great news!

Google has also released an SDK for developers so that they can use Google maps instead of the iPhone Apple maps. I’m sure this point we’re going to see quite a few apps being updated.
