Digg Plans To Build RSS Reader To Replace Google Reader

The Digg Corporation is planning to move into the RSS feed market upon Google’s decision to the close its popular RSS feed reader Google Reader. Google Reader has announced that it will end its run on July 1st of 2013.

According to Digg president Andrew McLaughlin, “We’ve been planning to build a reader in the second half of 2013, one that, like Digg, makes the Internet a more approachable and digestible place.”
