Facebook Brings Down The Hammer Again: Cuts Off MessageMe’s Access To Its Social Graph

A new app called MessagMe has been disabled by Facebook as of March 15, 2013.  MessageME, one of the most popular apps for users, is conflicting with businesses that do business with Facebook and thus a backlash has occurred.

According to sources familiar with Facebook’s decision to disable the app, one argument is that MessageMe is just too similar to the already in place Facebook Messenger.
